Review: The Picture of Dorian Gray – Oscar Wilde.

Morality, society, the human condition. I wanted a break from modern books that I felt I had to read – you know, that constant flurry of super books that are coming out too fast for you to read and you struggle to keep up? That. So I took a step back and somehow ended up reading Oscar Wilde. Somehow I hadn’t read this already.

I’m kind of 50-50. I liked the plot and the general idea, and I really liked the long stretches of dialogue. But the random time lapses were a nuisance and sometimes the writing was a bit much. Either way, I feel like I could quote so much of the book as something I loved, so. Yep. There you go.
