Review: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them – Newt Scamander / J.K. Rowling.

fantastic beastsI was in London for the day and was in the Harry Potter shop and had to leave with something (note: had to), and so I finally bought the Hogwarts library, even though I have them on my Kindle (which is completely and utterly rubbish and not the same in any way whatsoever).

That’s the justification I use, anyway.

So, to the (glaringly obvious) point. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is just a cute book, and it’s a nice wee addition to the Harry Potter world, albeit reading it over a decade behind the times.

And it’ll be fun as the film. I still disagree with a trilogy – I think you either make one movie, or a TV series with Newt trailing these quirky creatures across the world. Not a trilogy.

But anyway, quick, fun, cute wee read. Obviously.
