Review: A Dance With Dragons – George R. R. Martin.

a dance with dragons*Backdated review*
It might have taken me a little bit longer to get through this book because of a hectic schedule, but I’m finally there! The last book wasn’t up to much personally, mainly because it was so heavily focused on the introduction of new characters, and missing out the plot of the main ones. This, obviously, was the complete opposite.

I’d say this is my favourite book of the series so far, without a doubt. As usual, some stories interested me more than others. Where Theon wasn’t always interesting to me before, I really liked his chapters. Again, Bran’s is of no interest to me whatsoever. Luckily, he wasn’t featured all too heavily. It’s kind of difficult to break down the book. Basically, I loved it. I’m glad Daenerys was a huge feature of this one because she is still my favourite, and the fact the dragons are actually of a size to be useful is good.

You know when you finish an awesome book just before you have to shoot of to work? Yes, that. So this is the best I can do for a ramble. Best in the series, personally. (Edit: This still stands out as one of my favourite books of the year. Love it!)
